Connect your systems.
Remove repetitive work.
I build integrations and automation that move data between platforms, reduce manual processes and make existing tools work together more reliably. From custom API middleware and bi-directional CRM syncing to event-driven webhooks and financial reconciliation pipelines, every integration is engineered with idempotent error handling and zero data loss.
Engineered middleware. Zero data fragmentation.
Production systems require strict validation, race-condition mitigation, and guaranteed delivery SLAs rather than generic no-code pipelines.
RESTful & GraphQL API Integrations
Custom connector services linking modern APIs, legacy SOAP endpoints, and SaaS products with structured schema mapping and rate-limit buffering.
Bi-Directional CRM & ERP Synchronization
Real-time two-way synchronization between HubSpot, Salesforce, NetSuite, Zoho, and core databases with automatic conflict resolution rules and change logs.
E-Commerce & Inventory Middleware
Bridging Shopify, WooCommerce, Amazon, and ERP/WMS systems (Katana, TradeGecko) for live stock updates, order routing, and multi-warehouse sync.
Resilient Webhook Handlers & Message Queues
Asynchronous webhook ingestion architectures built on Redis queues, handling burst traffic spikes with idempotent replay and signature verification.
Automated Financial & Accounting Reconciliation
Automated pipelines syncing Stripe, PayPal, banking feeds, and QuickBooks/Xero with automatic transaction fee calculation and mismatch alerts.
Scheduled Jobs & Background ETL Daemons
Robust cron-based batch extract, transform, load (ETL) scripts processing large CSV/JSON feeds, nightly data warehouse dumps, and operational rollups.
Custom Scripting & Legacy Data Migration
One-off and ongoing automated scripts to extract data from legacy databases, cleanse formatting, and migrate records with zero downtime and strict validation.
Internal Admin Tooling & Workflow Automation
Lightweight custom admin portals, CLI automation utilities, and Retool/custom dashboards eliminating manual copy-pasting for operations teams.
Custom Zapier, Make & Custom iPaaS Apps
Building private, secure custom Zapier/Make developer apps or serverless webhooks when businesses need low-code speed backed by robust code infrastructure.
AI Agent & LLM Pipeline Integrations
Practical API pipelines integrating OpenAI, Claude, or local embeddings into operational workflows for ticket categorization, document ingestion, and automated data tagging.
Automation should reduce operational friction.
The goal is not automation for its own sake. A useful integration should reduce duplicate work, prevent errors, improve visibility or make a process faster for the people who use it.
The Fragile Low-Code Stack
- closeBrittle Multi-Step Chains: Chains break silently on third-party API changes, stranding unprocessed customer data.
- closeNo Dead-Letter Queues: Zero granular error logging or message replay, making edge failure recovery nearly impossible.
- closeConflicting Data States: Race conditions lead to duplicate customer charges, ghost accounts, and miscalculated inventory.
- closeEscalating Subscriptions: Per-task platform costs expand uncontrollably ($800+/mo) as event throughput scales up.
- closeZero Governance: No version control, rollback snapshots, or local integration testing environments.
The Umair Younus Integration Standard
- checkIdempotent Event Ingestion: Built with deterministic hash keys and exponential backoff retry algorithms.
- checkRedis Dead-Letter Queues (DLQ): Isolated failure states, instant webhook alerts, and safe single-click batch replay.
- checkConflict Resolution Rules: Strict atomic locks and authoritative sync logic preventing overwrites and data drift.
- checkPredictable Infrastructure Costs: Self-hosted lightweight daemons or serverless microservices with zero per-event markups.
- check100% Client Codebase Ownership: Code pushed to your Git repos with automated CI/CD staging verification.

Frequently asked technical questions.
What happens if a third-party API goes down or changes schemas?
Every pipeline I engineer is built on asynchronous queue topologies with exponential backoff algorithms. When an upstream provider is unresponsive or returns 5xx errors, payloads are safely held in a Redis Dead-Letter Queue (DLQ). They do not get lost. Once the endpoint stabilizes, automated workers or manual triage tools replay the queue with zero dropped records.
Do you build on Zapier/Make or write custom code?
I evaluate based on operational risk, data volume, and budget. For simple prototypes or low-volume marketing triggers, tools like Make or Zapier can be pragmatically configured. However, when businesses hit hundreds of thousands of events, require complex multi-key syncing, or face surging per-task fees, I architect custom Node.js/PHP microservices and serverless workers that run directly on your own infrastructure.
How do you prevent duplicate records or race conditions?
Idempotency is a foundational principle. Incoming webhook requests are fingerprinted with deterministic cryptographic hashes. If an identical event payload arrives multiple times within a sliding window, subsequent calls return cached success responses without re-executing database mutations or charging payment methods.
Who owns the integration code, API credentials, and infrastructure?
You maintain 100% intellectual property ownership. All source code is committed directly to your company’s GitHub or GitLab repositories with clear documentation. API keys and credentials reside in encrypted cloud vaults (AWS Secrets Manager, Cloudflare Secrets, or Doppler)—never hardcoded or held captive.
